IiE travels to Japan to present to the IRCA International Forum

Ian Nield, CEO of IiE Ltd presents the Investors in Excellence Standard to the 9th IRCA International Forum, Yokohama, Japan on13th June 2010.

The forum, organised by IRCA, Japan (a subsidiary of the Chartered Quality Institute) attracted over 300 quality professionals giving up their Sunday to focus on the challenges facing Japanese public and private sector organisations in effectively developing and certifying their management systems in the light of the changing global economic conditions.

ISO Standards are at the heart of Japanese management systems and Ian was invited to present the Investors in Excellence Standard as a new, complementary approach to driving sustainable improvement.

Ian commented "to be invited to present the IiE standard in the 'home of quality' was a tremendous honour and I am delighted with the very positive reaction received." "The internationalisation of the IiE Standard is a key part of our strategy and the absolute focus on quality seen throughout Japan, makes this an environment where I believe the IiE Standard will add real value and we look forward to developing things over the coming months"
